Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born August 20, 1974, Aviano Italy American actor. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was among seven children who lived when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. At the end of the 1990s, she began performing professionally and dancing in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. When she moved to Minnesota where she was a part of the mock-documentary film Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. The film's debut on screen was a bright-eyed but sweet contestant. Following that, she relocated her home to Los Angeles in order to explore a career as an actress. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. Over the course of the 1960s, Leigh starred in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
