Gerina-Piller
She was born in Roswell on March 29, 1985. Her name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican as well as American. At a very young age her drive to become engaged in sport was strong. Gerina was a golfer when she was just age 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina won her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player and competed at the state level. She went to the University of Texas in 2003. In the final seasons of her professional career, she was the winner of every event that she participated in. During undergraduate studies, she earned the titles as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
